The Mount Sinai Health System has initiated a procedure known as plasmapheresis. Antibodies from patients who have recovered from COVID-19 can be transferred to critically ill patients to help them fight the disease. This process was used successfully in China, according to a state-owned organization, with some patients improving within 24 hours. 

If you had COVID-19, your blood may contain these antibodies. Mount Sinai is seeking volunteers in the Five Towns area to have their blood tested.
